Fine Arts of the South Bend Region 1840-2000 (Wolfson Press 2014), 195 pp., 8 1/2 x 11, with three CDs. In eight essays and numerous full-color images, the book tells the story of how the artists and art organizations of the region developed from the time of the founding of the city as a township. It contains 100 short biographies of prominent artists. The book is a unique resource, launching the study of the art history of the Michiana region, where successful industries and growing universities fueled an interest in painting and sculpture.
