Book Contests

Wolfson Press accepts submissions to two annual book contests.

A poetry chapbook competition for poets writing in English. Inaugurated in 2020-21, this contest runs annually, accepting submissions between early October and mid-March. The winner receives a prize of $500 and 50 copies of the publication.

A prose competition that accepts short story collections, novellas and short novels, memoirs, literary and personal essays, and various other forms of creative non-fiction by American writers. This competition runs in the fall, beginning in September. The winner receives $500 and 50 copies of the publication.

42 Miles Press, our sister press, holds an annual poetry competition for full-length manuscripts. Information about 42 Miles Press can be found here.
